Our Top Uses for Blue Dawn Dish Soap

If you have been around here for a while you have probably caught onto our love for Blue Dawn dish soap... And not just for cleaning dishes! We don't know what exactly it is, but there is literally something magical that lies within the ingredients of Blue Dawn. It is one of those products in our home that we try real hard to make sure we never run out of and ALWAYS have on hand! When we really love something we feel that it is our civic duty to share it with others. Today we are going to share with you our top five uses for Blue Dawn dish soap in our home.

2. Stain Remover: Our all time favorite stain remover that will literally remove just about any and every stain! You can also find that HERE.

Recipe:

2 Parts Hydrogen Peroxide

1 Part Blue Dawn

Add baking soda for scrubbing powder and/or as a deodorizer if needed

3. Cleaning Cabinets: Put a little bit of dish soap on a damp sponge or microfiber cloth. Start at the top and wipe in the direction of the grain. Rinse when you are finished. Then DRY completely using paper towels or a dry microfiber towel. A trick is to make sure that your surface is TOTALLY dry. PRO TIP: Always check a small area that is not in visible sight first to make sure that no damage is done to your cabinets.

4. All Purpose Cleaner: 2 drops of Blue Dawn dish soap mixed with 8 ounces of distilled water is just about the best all purpose cleaner you will find! It is safe on pretty much every single surface and extremely cost effective.

5. Clean Lenses & Frames on Your Glasses: My little boy got glasses last year and let me just tell you, they are ALWAYS dirty. Like half of the time I don't even understand how he can see out of them. But I have found that when I rub a couple small drops of blue Dawn and warm water on his lenses and frames then wipe them clean it gets them cleaner then anything else I have tried!
