How to Make Lemon Vinegar Ice Cubes

Do you have a smelly garbage disposal? Lemon vinegar ice cubes for the win! They not only freshen the smell of your garbage disposal, but they also help thoroughly clean the hard to get crevices in your disposal. AND the ice actually sharpens the blades. Who knew right? The process is extremely easy, just follow these steps!

How to Make Lemon Vinegar Ice Cubes

1. Purchase white vinegar and 3-4 lemons next time you go to the grocery store.
2. Roll the lemons out before slicing (this loosens the juices).
3. Cut the lemons into small chunks or slices (size them so they can fit in your ice tray).
4. Place one slice (or chunk) in each mold of your ice tray.
5. Fill each mold with white vinegar.
6. Place the tray in the freezer and freeze overnight.
7. After cubes are frozen, put one cube down your garbage disposal each night after you are finished washing dishes!
8. Enjoy a fresh smelling garbage disposal!

Insider Tip
Tip: Store the ice cubes in a Ziploc bag in your freezer so that it doesn’t absorb smells from other foods. And so you don’t accidentally slip on of them into your Diet Coke.
