Bathroom Organization Tips & Products
Today we are so excited to be talking about one of our very favorite subjects, organization! And we especially love bathroom organization, so we have compiled a list of some of our tried and true products that help us keep our bathroom cupboards and drawers under control! When you are organizing your bathrooms remember to KEEP IT SIMPLE. Like we always say, the less that you have, the easier it is to keep it organized. Less is always more.
Here are a few quick and easy tips to keep in mind when organizing your bathroom:
1. Your first step should always always always be to take everything (yes EVERYTHING) out of your cupboards and/or drawers. This is not a new method or our own system. We are huge fans of Marie Kondo and The Home Edit girls and this is step one in both of their books, and we listen and obey to everything they tell us to do. HA
2. Before you put anything back into the cupboards, toss or donate all the things that you do not need in your life anymore. Bathrooms tend to collect old, expired, and out of date items that we feel too guilty throwing away because they were expensive. Or because somebody told us that they would change our life and even though we have never used that expensive five year old face mask, we just can't seem to part with it because one day we might actually use it and it might change our life. See where I'm going with this? There are A LOT of things in your bathroom that I promise you you can live without.
3. Find ways to best utilize your space. I have very little storage space in my bathrooms, so I have had to find ways to better use our space. Little things, like adding a cabinet shelf, or a set of drawers, can provide you with a way to fill all of the empty, wasted space under your bathroom sink.
4. Keep like items close together. The more you can do this, the more you will use what you have, because you will know where it is! It's like science really. Really fun and complex science (insert wink emoji).
5. Before you go out and spend a million dollars on bathroom organization products scope out your house for what you already have. We are very big fans of beautiful and practical bins, but we also stand firm in our belief that you don't have to break the bank to be an organized person! Use what you have, then add in practical pieces where needed.

I absolutely love this organizer! I keep my makeup in the top two drawers & hair tools in the bottom department.
